A project summary for products supplied for the construction of a 12,000 square foot residence in Bar Harbor, Maine.
We were contacted in March of 2025 by a project management firm inquiring about our pre-finished exterior cladding after the initial supplier could not guarantee either pricing or a solid delivery date. In short order, after providing samples, design advice and a guarantee of quality, pricing and delivery time-frames, our scope of work for this project grew exponentially. Our first delivery to the job-site was the 5,200 Square Feet of pre-finished 5" Tongue & Groove cladding for the massive soffits that surround the new construction residence. Construction progress had been hindered prior to our stepping in but the soffit cladding was delivered to the site withing three weeks of our being contracted to perform. This soffit cladding was delivered finished in a 10 sheen UV along with a supply of "butt blocks" that eliminated perhaps a 10% waste factor.

Our next mission was to provide several element that were required to construct and finish the guest apartment over the garage space. For that space, we crafted and delivered ebonized Sapele cladding to match the black satin cabinets, windowsills, wall panels, faux beams, a complete open stairway system and a custom made 184" x 45" kitchen island with a cutout for a quartz undermount sink. We personally delivered the massive island top and oversaw the stairway construction, again beating the deadline that was asked of us.
Our focus then shifted to more exterior elements of the home including three and four sided faux columns made from thick Sapele boards. Our pillar design was a vast improvement over what had been proposed bot in term of pricing and quality. These columns or "support wraps" were crafted individually in our shop in such a way that when installed around the supports, they would be perfectly seamless without a hint of any fasteners and were pre-finished to furniture grade standards in a 20 sheen UV finish. The eye appeal of the installed columns in the main residence entryway is striking. Additional columns, in two sizes, are being installed around the house in all walkway and patio areas. Additional columns, along with faux Sapele beams will be crafted and delivered this fall for the interior of the residence.
Additional architectural products and construction materials have been delivered for the exterior of the residence including complete IPE decking systems, exterior pre-finished cladding / siding in a custom color match along with corner wraps to tie in with the massive 14" Sapele columns. The project manager and builder have been appreciative of the our products in terms of quality and time savings along with meeting the project schedule with timely delivery of each product. Further interior products are forthcoming as are final images, both interior and exterior, of this flagship property and Spiritcraft project.
