A stunning handcrafted live edge bar top of heirloom quality... a stunning, durable and functional work of art
Some details and images of a recent bar top, mantel and table top installation at Roaring Table Brewery in Lake Zurich, Illinois. From conception through installation, we worked closely with the proprietors to design and craft heirloom quality solid hardwood furnishings that helped to create an appealing commercial space. These live edge bar tops, table tops, benches and the mantel were handcrafted from solid kiln dried White Ash hardwoods at our wood shop in East Dundee, Illinois.
The Live Edge Waterfall Ash Bar Top
The main bar top is 32+ feet long including a lower serving station and features a 42" high waterfall on one end. The top was crafted from a custom cut log of White Ash and the mitered and Walnut splined waterfall end is a perfect grain match. This Spiritcraft Furniture commercial bar top is likely one of the finest crafted in the area, if not the nation. It is stunning, features our propitiatory durable, no ring and easy maintenance finish and is of absolute heirloom quality. The live edge 24" long standing bar and mantel are from another Ash tree that also had succumbed to the terrible Emerald Ash Bore that is decimating the Ash population nationally.
Handcrafted Solid Ash Table and Tops
The square edge table tops, tables and bench tops are also from kiln dried Ash and were crafted to exact custom sizes to allow for a perfect fit within the space. We crafted and installed rectangular and round table tops along with communal tables with matching benches on custom designed bent and welded steel bases. All tops were finished in our renowned proprietary finish that both residential and commercial clients appreciate for its beauty, durability and ease of maintenance qualities.

The bar tops and restaurant table tops and bases were installed at The Roaring Table Brewery in Lake Zurich, Illinois. The owners, Beth and Lane did a wonderful job with additional seating and bases that work well with the solid hardwood items and the table and bench bases we provided. The entire space is very appealing and were are certainly proud that our live edge tops, tables and table tops were a part of this exciting build out.
